Board Positions

Hello WYHIMA,

Discussions amongst the Board have occurred regarding the term of office held by the Board Members. Currently, our Bylaws state that the term is one year. Personally, as your current and first year President, I have learned a lot and have realized that there is a lot that goes into changing of the Board.

With that being said, we would like to get an idea of how the membership feels about changing to a two-year term. The Board is recommending this change for several reasons:

• The process to change over the banking information can take several months
• Learning the role as a brand-new Board Member takes time
• Once a person is finally comfortable in the role, it is again time to change over
